Seems pretty close to me.
Not at all, distributed computing is an entirely different arena, this is using our computer power to generate models of protein folding, and doesn't provide an organized, useful database for all of genomics. What would be nice is for all genomic data to be organized for once, for genes to be searchable on multiple levels, including but not limited to function, taxonomy, product, or author. If you've ever tried to use NCBI, you know how much it sucks. Google makes it their business to organize and make information available. They would be my ideal candidates for the job...
